Forget the guy Jack away, because this time we will role-play Carlos Gonzales – an ICPO agent extremely “cool” in Endless Nightmare 3: Shrine. This not only merely is the sequel but is a jump back to the past, decoding events before Jack set foot in the eerie hospital at previous parts. I have really been drawn into the mission of preventing the criminal organization Black Python seizing the Heart of the Pharaoh. An ancient temple, full of traps and the pack of unnamed monsters… hearing only already feel “goosebumps” already right? Truly is an authentic horror experience.
HIGH-TECH SURVIVAL ACTION
This game really creates a big difference compared to predecessors thanks to the appearance of high-tech “toys”. You no longer have to hide away too much anymore but can directly “collide” with enemies thanks to the diverse weapon system. The feeling of being held guns or tech gloves hunting monsters in an ancient temple really is very different.
- Advanced tech arsenal: Players can freely choose guns, grenades or tech gloves to confront the dark forces.
- Dynamic combat mechanics: The combination between long-range shooting and melee helps the combat pace always at a high level and full of intensity.
- Essential survival skills: You need to collect resources from chests to upgrade weapons and learn more new skills if not want to “fade away” early.
IMMERSIVE HORROR ATMOSPHERE
The horror essence in the game comes from the combination between sharp 3D graphics and well-invested sound. When wearing headphones in, each footstep or moan of monsters all make me have to be startled. The map of this part also is vast much more, creating a feeling of exploration full of anxiety but also very stimulating.
- Exquisite 3D visuals: Exquisite art style brings realistic visual experience, highlighting the gloominess of the temple.
- Intricate puzzle solving: Puzzles being designed integrated cleverly in the rooms, requiring you have to use the mind to find clues.
- Epic boss encounters: The final battle winning the Heart of the Pharaoh is a real skill test with extremely high difficulty.
